Industrially manufactured dentures made of high-performance ceramics for the medical industry are also one our areas of expertise at H.C. Starck Ceramics. With medical products, our focus is on ceramic blanks for the dental industry. What demands do people place on their dental prostheses, such as crowns and bridges? Aesthetics and a natural appearance as well as optimal compatibility are of course basic requirements for dental ceramics. Increasingly faster production methods and new materials are required to satisfy the global pressure for cost-effectiveness. We know that more efficient production of dental prostheses is key to the solution. So what inspired this development? On the one hand, it was a result of the use of CAD/CAM technology in production and on the other hand, the use of high-performance ceramics – and it is well-known that this is what we do best. We are convinced that high-quality technical ceramics, as manufactured by us, are the future of industrial dental prostheses – and we already have it available.
